Incendiary PAPER.—

The Grand Jury of Accomac co., Va , on the 20th ult. presented the New York Christian Advocate and Journal (the Organ of the Methodist Episcopal Church) as an incendiary paper, in. the following words :

" We the Grand Jury upon our oaths do present, that the New York Christian Advocate and Journal, a newspaper published in the city of N. York, is a paper which is circulated through the post offices of this county, and advises and is calculated and intended to persuade persons of color within the Commonwealth to make insurrection or redel (rebel?) and denies the right of masters to property in their slaves, and inculcates the duty of resistance to such right, contrary to the Statute in such, case made and provided.
“This presentment is made upon the examination of the paper itself.

One of the subscribers to the Advocate, in Accomac county writes that they will be compelled in consequence of this presentment to forego the reading of the paper. A copy of the presentment, has been served upon all the postmasters in the county to deter them from delivering the paper to the subscribers.
