The last News contains a table of the number and value, age and sex, of the Slaves in Washington County, which was prepared for that paper by Mr. HARBAUGH, and from which we quote as follows:
Sharpsburg District—Males under 12 yrs. 39, valued at $2,925; from 12 to 21 yrs. 23, valued at 5,750; from 21 to 45 yrs. 20, valued at 8,000: from 45 to 60 yrs. 7, valued at 1,600. Females under 12 yrs. 40, valued at 2,000; from 12 to 21 yrs. 23, valued at 4,600; from 21 to 40 yrs. 32, valued at 9,600; from 40 to 60 yrs. 11, valued at 1,100. No. of slaves 195. Total value $35,035.
Williamsport District

We have no means of ascertaining the number and value of slaves in this county in the year 1841, or when the assessment before the last was made, but have not a doubt that the decrease, both in the number and value, has been at least one half since that period.
