President Roosevelt on arrival at Antietam battlefield
President Roosevelt arriving to speak at the 75th anniversary commemoration at the Battle of Antietam at Antietam yesterday about noon. With him are Senators Radcliffe and Tydings of Maryland. The president delivered an address after greeting veterans of the North and South who were grouped on the stand. He left immediately after his address for Washington.

Crowds Gather for Exercises at Antietam
Part of the crowd of thousands of persons at Antietam for the 75th anniversary commemoration of the battle, a high light of which was an address by President Roosevelt. The crowd has been conservatively placed a between 30,000 and 40,000.
