Rodney Keys, a 1966 graduate of Allegany High School, is, "Ready for the Gun" in this high school yearbook photograph. Rodney Keys also played football for Allegany High School, went on to see military service in Vietnam, and has had a long career as an electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 307.

Rodney Keys served in the military from February 1968 to February 1971. He is a member of Chapter 172, Vietnam Veterans of America. Rodney, along with his brother Nial (Pete), and Elaine Frisby were among the first African-American children to integrate Cumberland's Columbia Street Elementary School in September 1955.
