FROSTBURG –
Mary Ann (Paige) White, 96, of Frostburg, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at the WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born Aug. 1, 1910 in Frostburg, she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Rosa (Redman) Paige. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Milton L. White; two sons, Robert and Oliver White; three daughters, Nellie Small, Eleanor White, and Marjorie Anita M. White; two sisters, Agnes Taylor and Rosa Paige; and three brothers, Joseph D. Paige, Billie Paige, and Richard S. Kelly.

Mrs. White had been a Teacher's Aide for the Head Start program in Frostburg and was a member of the Methodist faith for 87 years. She belonged to Frostburg United Methodist Church and the Frostburg Homemakers Club. She loved doing crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting and tatting. Survivors include her son, Milton "Buddy" "Saddle" O. White, Rochester, N.Y.; three daughters, Rose Mary Harris and husband Ervin, Columbus, Ga., Lois Ann "Putsy" Gray, Los Angeles, Ca., and Sylvia J. White, Frostburg; 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 11 great great grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Hafer Frost Mansion Funeral Home, 58 Frost Ave., Frostburg on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Frostburg United Methodist Church on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Rebecca Vardiman, officiating. Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Frostburg United Methodist Church for the Restoration of the Sanctuary, 48 W. Main St., Frostburg, MD 21532.
