Boonsboro Free Library (9 South Main Street)

Boonsboro Free Library, 9 South Main Street, 1991 Click on the MEDIA ITEMS below for more information

The building with the Long and Foster sign on it is 9 South Main Street, as it was in 1991. The Sanborn map of 1910 indicates that the right side of that building was the library. At that time there was an internal partition that divided the building in two, and the left side of the building was a jewelry store.

The 1940 map shows the partition removed and a porch added. The porch remains today.
