Bookmobile Will Visit Boys' Forestry Camp
Beginning today and continuing on a bi-weekly basis, the Allegany County Library bookmobile will stop at the Green Ridge Forestry Camp from 1:45 until 4 p.m., according to Robert L. Neal, director of the county library system.
Mr. Neal said that boys from the Maple Run Forestry Camp, also located east of Cumberland, also will be transported to the Green Ridge camp on alternate Monday afternoons so they too may borrow books from the mobile library.
The revised bookmobile schedule to date begins at Piney Plains School, 10:30 a.m. until noon. Other stops, already established, include McCusker's, Orleans Road, 12:01 to 12:15; p.m.; Mann Road, 12:30 to; 12:45 p.m., and Joy's, Adams Road, 1 to 1:15 p.m. After the forestry camp stop, the bookmobile visit at the County Home will be from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m.
Tuesday schedule: Mt. Royal School, 9:15 a.m. to noon; Rawlings Methodist Church, 1:15 to 2:15:p.m.; Avenue C and Main Street, Potomac Park, 2:30 to 3 p.m. Bowling Green Fire Hall, 3:15 to 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday schedule: Eckhart School, 9:30 a.m. until noon; Jenkins Store, Moscow, 1:30 to 1:45 p.m.; Barton School, 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday schedule: Bedford Road Fire Hall, 10:30 to 11 a.m.; Baltimore Pike at Pleasant Valley Road, 11:30 a.m. to noon; Flintstone School, 1 to 3 p.m.; Kennedy Apartments, 4 to 4:30 p.m.
Friday schedule: Midland School, 10 a.m. to noon; city parking area, Midland, 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.; Winders, Gilmore, 1:30 to 1:45 p.m. Main Street, Lonaconing, 2:30 to 4 p.m.
