GET CERTIFICATES —

Library assistant certificates were presented recently to 38 people: 20 from Allegany County; seven from Garrett County; nine from Washington County; and two from the Western Maryland Public Libraries (WMRL) Resource Library staff. Shown are (from left) Robert L. Neal, director of the Allegany County Library System and WMRL Advisory Board chairman; Elizabeth M. Stone, Lola M. Davis, Starr Harvey and Towanna Harper, who received certificates; and Mary S. Mallery, WMRL administrator, who developed the course taken by the assistants.
