Allied Force Headquarters
Office of the Commander in Chief
11 November 1942

Dear Scrappy

Thanks a lot for your very fine work of the 9th.
If things keep going as they started and the North African French, particularly the hot shots, will only realize which side their bread is buttered, we should soon accomplish a lot here for the licking of Germany.

If we make any worth-while contribution, you may be sure we will not forget how much we owe to you and the E.T.O.

Cordially,
Ike
