HAGERS-TOWN, May 5, 1813.

The Executive of Maryland has required of the Commander of this Brigade to furnish 330 draughted militia as part of this state's quota, for the protection of the city of Baltimore. In compliance with this request Capt. Wherritt’s company from Funkstown and Capt Miller’s from Sharpsburg left Boonsborough on Monday last; Capt Steven’s company from Hancock-town is expected to pass through town this morning, and another company from Allegany county will march in a day or two.
