SUBJECT: Visit of Colonel William O. Darby, Army Ground Forces Representative

Commanding General, Infantry Replacement Training Center, Camp Fannin, Texas

1. Colonel William O. Darby, Army Ground Forces representative, will visit Infantry replacement Training Center, Camp Fannin, Texas, some time between 30 May and 1 June 1944, for the purpose of making a training inspection. Colonel Darby commanded the Rangers in North Africa and has had considerable combat experience. He is prepared to talk to the officers and enlisted personnel of your installation, if so desired.

2. Colonel Darby will furnish timely notification of his arrival
