An article about Miss Mame Semler in an unidentified newspaper: Brownsville children who met at the reading room in Mr. Tom Brown’s grocery store formed an order, “Knights of the Acorn” and one of the duties of the youthful knights was to escort Miss Semler to the station, for the evening train. While they wait at the station there was time for another story!
