Requests For Blankets And Men's Clothing

Cumberland Chapter, American Red Cross, with headquarters at the State Armory, South Centre street made an appeal for men's clothing and blankets today.

The blankets are also needed at La Vale School. Many persons living in the flood areas are without clothing and the Red Cross hopes to provide enough.

About 50 persons were given shelter and food at the Emmanuel Episcopal Parish house, Washington street, last night. A like number, including 20 CCC Camp workers were cared for at the Armory.

Both places will be open again tonight. Last night's efforts were made to house as many persons as possible with friends.
