ARRIVAL OF ARTILLERY.—

On Saturday last, six beautiful Parrot Guns (10 pounders) arrived on the Franklin Rail Road for HAMPTON'S Artillerists now and for some time stationed at Williamsport. On Sunday the Company received their pieces and placed them upon the carriages which accompanied them. The carriages and caisons or ammunition wagons are substantially built, and seem to be admirably adapted for the purpose for which they are intended. The guns are formidable weapons, and will no doubt be able to render efficient service whenever or wherever brought into action.
