Destruction of Fred. Co Jail by Fire.

Fire was communicated to this building on Saturday night last between the hours 11 and 12 o’clock by some of the prisoners and before it was discovered it had much progress as to render all efforts to save it unavailing. The prisoners were all secured. The destruction of this property just at this particular time will bear heavily upon our county. - Fred. Union.
