LOCAL MATTERS.

RETURN TO THEIR REGIMENTS.— A Company of Michigan Cavalry, having in charge some deserters from their regiments on the Upper Potomac, passed through this place last week on their way to and from Hancock. It is said that one of this troop was shot while warming himself at a campfire near Hancock, by a rebel picket from the opposite side of the river.
