Col. LAMON’S REGIMENT.

The Cavalry Company which Rev. C. H. Russell has raised for this Regiment, elected its officers last week;.— They consist of Rev. C. H. RUSSELL, Captain; ALEXANDER NESBITT, of this town, 1st Lieutenant; and C EMORY STONESLIFER, of Boonsboro', 2d Lieutenant. We learn that a second company of Cavalry is in process of formation, under the auspices of Mr. Joseph Zeller, for the same Regiment, and that a company of Riflemen from the North passed through this town on Saturday last, for the purpose of connecting themselves with it. The Regiment is said to be rapidly filling up.
