Was taken up

A negro man, who calls himself George Champs, of a black complexion, with a [?] place of scald on the right side of his head and a scar immediately over the right eye, who is now detained in the gaol of Allegany County as a runaway. The said negro is about 5 ft 8 or 9 inches high and about [?] his clothing is made of a drab coloured cloth. The owner of the above described is hereby notified to come forward immediately and prove property, pay [?] or otherwise he will be sold [?]
