Found Drowned.—

A young man named Martin Garrett, formerly a member of Capt. Russel's Cavalry Company, but recently serving as a scout for Government, was found floating in the Potomac river near Mercerville, having been drowned in attempting to swim the river on horse-back at Falling Waters. An inquest was held by Samuel Boyer, Esq., and a verdict rendered in accordance with the facts in the case.
