20 Dollars Reward.
RAN AWAY from Col. Josias Clapham’s Iron Works in Loudon County, Virginia the 19th of October last, a Negro man named JOSEPH, of a yellow complexion, about five feet four inches high, _____ and well made, about 35 years of age. I expect he will endeavor to get to Pennsylvania, as he made an attempt to get there last August, and was brought from Washington County Jail in Maryland – he at that time passed by the name of Tom. Whoever takes up the said Negro and secures him in any jail so that the owner gets him again, shall receive the above reward, and reasonable charges if brought to me living near the said Iron works.

EDMUND JENNINGS.
