RUNAWAYS
WAS committed to the jail of Washington County, as a runaway, on the 31st day of August, 1862, a negro man called himself William Williams, aged about 45 years, 5 feet 9 inches high, had on gray pantaloons and vest, black coat, black hat and belongs to Fanny Myers of Hampshire co., Va.

On the same day, a negro woman calling herself Fanny Williams, aged about 45 years, 5 feet 4 inches high, had on dark calico dress and shaker bonnet and belongs to Fanny Myers of Hampshire co., Va.

On the same day a negro girl calling herself Betty Fetter, aged 14 years, 5 feet 1 inch high, had on a light bared dress, red calico sun bonnet and belongs to Ida Gray of Hampshire co., Va.

On the same day a negro girl calling herself Estetta Williams, aged 11 years, 4 feet 11 inch high, had on a red calico dress, white apron and shaker sun bonnet and belongs to Fanny Myers of Hampshire co., Va.

On the same day a negro boy calling himself Henry Williams, aged about 9 years, 4 feet 2 inches high, had on a gray jacket, black pantaloons and military cap, belongs to Fanny Myers of Hampshire co., Va.

The owners of the above described slaves are requested to come forward and prove property, otherwise they will be discharged according to law.
