A Bold Undertaking.
SQUIRE THOMAS WATKINS, of Sandy Hook, deposited a runaway negro from "old Virginia" in the Jail of this County, on Friday last, whom, without the slightest assistance, and without cord or hand-cuffs upon his limbs, be brought a distance of twenty-six miles on foot. The undertaking was successful, but we would not advise our old friend to repeat it.
