As a result of the November 4, 2014 General Election, Billie J. Gilpin, Donna F. May, and Edward C. Crossland, all Republicans, were elected to the position of Judge of the Orphans' Court. The lone Democrat, Charles "Buck" Taylor, was unsuccessful in his election bid.

There were seven candidates running in the June 24, 2014 Republican primary for the three Judge of the Orphans Court seats. The three successful Republican candidates going onto the November General Election are Donna May and Billie J. Gilpin, both long-term incumbents (28 and 20 years respectively), and Edward Crossland. Republican candidates who were unsuccessful were Dan WhetzelRon LevasseurGary Logan and Tom Taccino. If successful, Gary Logan had promised "to protect the rights of heirs, secure the rights of minors, and protect estate integrity".

There was only one Democratic primary candidate for this position, Charles "Buck" Taylor. He will also go onto the General Election.
