She was born Suzanne Cecelia Crumpler in the Georges Creek town of Midland (incorporated 1900), and grew up in Colonial Heights, Virginia. At the age of seventeen she traveled to New York City and began her career in show business as one of the famous Radio City Music Hall Rockettes. Suzanne Rogers is an American actress who has appeared in both television and movies. She originated the role of "Maggie Horton" on the popular television soap opera, "Days of Our Lives", and in 1973 won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in that role. Rogers is not only still a member of the cast, but also the longest-running actress to appear continuously on the NBC program. She has also appeared on such other well-known television shows as "Knight Rider", "Little House on the Prairie", "Love, American Style", "Quincy M.E." and others.

As of February 2018 Rogers is still appearing as a cast member on "Days of Our Lives."
