Body

A Runaway Slave Returned.

A valuable negro, belonging to Mr. HENRY MCCAULEY of this county, ranaway from his master about two months ago, and went to Pennsylvania. No body pursued, and no efforts were made to recover him, consequently the Abolitionists had no opportunity of lionizing him, and left him to scratch for himself among the free dirt of Pennsylvania. Having no longer a well filled table and a comfortable bed to resort to when hungry and weary, he began to think that he was a badly fooled nigger, and left in the first boat for his old home, his master finding him stowed away under a pile of straw in his barn a few mornings ago.
