$50 REWARD.
THE above reward will be given and all reasonable expenses paid, tor the apprehension and delivery to me of my negro man,
MICHAEL,
(if taken out of the state, and $30 if taken in,) who absconded on the 25th ult. during my absence from home, and without any provocation. MICHAEL is a mulatto, 27 years of age, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, large and well formed, round full face with large eyes, quick and active in his walk. He has one mark by which he cannot be mistaken— which is the loss of half of the two middle fingers on the left hand.
He has relations on Mr John Page's estate in this county, and there is reason to believe that if he has not left the neighborhood, he is lurking about the quarters of the Messrs. Page; otherwise he may be on the canal near Harper's Ferry. Michael has been employed as a cook and may engage in that way in some public house, or as a harvest hand.
