Mulatto to be sold by Circuit Court, 1852

NOTICE

THE undersigned will sell at private sale a likely, able bodied MULATTO MAN about 33 or 34 years of age, for the term of five years and six months from December, 1851, who was by the judgment of the Circuit Court for Washington County ordered to serve in the capacity of a slave for the said term, and whereby the undersigned was authorised to sell the said negro or mulatto in the State of Maryland for the term aforesaid. If a private sale should not be effected before the 8th day of June next, then, the said slave will.be offered at public sale to the highest bidder, at the Jail in Hagerstown. Terms will be made to suit the purchaser.
