RUNAWAY. —

Was committed to the jail of Washington County, on the 22d May ult., a Negro Man who calls himself JAMES REED, is about six feet high, quite black, of pleasant countenance when spoken to, has a scar on the lower lip near the corner of the left side of his mouth, and about 26 years of age, had a blue cloth coat, plaid cassimere pants, dark vest with red stripes, black hat and other clothing; says he is a free man, and served some time as a waiter in a hotel in Baltimore kept by Talbot C. Etchitson. The owner of the above described Negro is required to come and prove his property, pay charges and take him away.
