CLAUDE LIGHT
"Abie"
Glee Club (3-4); Dramatic Club (3-4); "Nearly a Honeymoon ; "The Romancers"; "Nothing But the Truth"; "Kicked Out of College"; Orchestra (3); Quartet (4).
Next on the program is an imitation of Charlie Chaplin and Ben Turpin in one, by the greatest comedian ever produced at Penn Hi. Abie is one of those lads who can ape Paderewski, "Cal" Coolidge, Jesse James or what not. He is the life of the class and his grimaces throw the pupils into gales of laughter.
Abie can handle a violin like a professional and then—and only then—is he serious. With a violin, curly hair and a nature that Harold Lloyd could well envy, this lad will have the heart of the world, in his hands.

HOWARD MALONE
"Mickey"
Basket-ball (3-4); Soccer (3-4); Track (2-3-4); Glee Club (4); Hi-Y Secretary; Dramatic Club (2- 3-4); French Club (4); Business Manager of "Pennsycanac" (2-3); "Kicked Out of College"; "Pickles."

And then he will argue!
Ye Gods how he will argue!

Now ladies and gentlemen, can a man with a face like this be intelligent? The answer is absolutely. This is Howard Malone, the student who has a peculiar aversion to smelling smoke. He will go into frenzies at the mention of the simple word "smoke." Howard is a member of the Penn Avenue Super Varsity, commonly called "The Celtics." He is continually wanting to be a member of some home room committee. He always wanted to be President! Barring these facts, Mickey is one of the best sports and brightest students of the class of '28. He is industrious and ambitious and should be mayor at least, some day.
