MARGARET TROUTMAN
"Maggie”
Dramatic Club (2-3-4); Glee Club (3-4); Orchestra (3-4); "Pennsycanac" Staff (3-4); "The Quill," Literary Editor; French Club (4); Art Club (3); Correspondent for "Evening Times" (4); "The Hoodoo"; "Nearly a Honeymoon"; "Kicked Out of College."
A face with gladness over spread,
Soft smiles by human kindness bred.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have with us today one of the best sports and music students in P. A. H. S. Margaret is known over the school for her wonderful knowledge of music. She has given to us the "Penn High March." She has been Penn Hi's pianist for many years. Who can forget the thrill of marching from an assembly to the strains of Margaret's original composition?
Maggie's most outstanding feature is her contagious laugh and her continual smile. She is always dependable and it is a pleasure to have Margaret for a friend. Her one ambition is to become a great musician and we hope her goal will be reached.
MILDRED TWIGG
"Milly"
Cheer Leader (2-3-4); Dramatic Club President (2 3-4); Athletic Honor Club President (4); Glee Club President (3); Business Manager of Glee Club (4); Exchange Editor of "Pennsycanac" (2-3); "Nearly a Honeymoon"; "The Romancers"; "The Trysting Place"; "The Hoodoo"; "Nothing But the Truth"; "Kicked Out of College"; "Pickles."
Work a little, sing a little, whistle and be glad.
This petite maid has graced the portals of Penn Hi for three years. As her activities show, we would be totally at loss without Mildred. She is a very dainty, graceful person. This she proved in her appearance in dramatic performances and in her cheer leading.
We know that Milly will be missed but we do not know how long she'll be "Miss." We're afraid a certain tall Junior has won her heart. We wish you luck Milly. We know he will be a Mann.
