wince. Again, for the third time, we elected Miss Straight our faculty adviser. We knew that we would need her steady unfaltering support in our shortest and hardest year.

As Seniors we had to be dignified; we had to become models for the under classmen. We did our best to become more serious, and to assume more responsibility. We were normal Seniors and worked with our best talent and ability to make Penn. proud of us.

The basketball games were thrilling "plus." Our teams were out for victories and they played clean and hard. The year was dotted with gay and frivolous social events. It is needless to say that these formed pleasant interludes.

The end has come! We, who have been so closely united, who have found that in "unity there is strength," find that it is hard to leave for good. We cannot go without bidding a loving farewell, yet our voices are choked with tears and our words are empty and void of all other feeling. Farewell, dear Alma Mater, farewell. We shall ever love you and cherish the memory of long years spent at Penn Hi.
