Les Amis de la France met and reorganized early in the school year. The club has proved to be one of the most popular, growing from a first year membership of eight interested students to a present membership of thirty-five.
The object of the club has been to create and promote an interest in France, its people, their customs and their language. This objective has been attained by conversation in club meetings and through plays given in French.
Through the efforts of this club French books which are instructive as well as entertaining, have been put in the library, making the class work more enjoyable.
We know that all work and no play will make Jack a dull boy and the French club had the same idea. As a result their dances were among the most enjoyable affairs given at the school.
