MENHORN HOME. The former home of the Menhorns is shown in the background. Notice the elaborate portico. Shutters were used on most of the windows.

Blacksmiths. The first blacksmith shop in Accident was established in 1852 by Adam Goehringer. George Menhorn had established another fairly large shop some years later, but the Menhorns left Accident after 1900. Edwin Georg opened a blacksmith shop in Accident in 1900 or soon thereafter.
