Boonsboro, Md.
Nov 3rd, 1900

The Republican Club met on Saturday evening Nov. 3. Minutes of previous meeting were read and adopted. The committee on Stove for Club reported that they had secured a Stove on approval and if satisfactory could be bought for $10.00, the report was accepted by the Club. The Committee on Election Return reported that they had given the contract to the Chesapeak Telephone Co. for the sum of $5.00 and their report was accepted. H. S Bomberger delivered a short but very interesting address stating his views on the Campaign as it was closing and his prediction were perfectly proper.
Major Pierce read a correspondence that was going on between Col. L. Victor Bauchman and himself after which he favored the Club with several choice selections on the Piano. The Executive Committee voted to F. E. Newcomer $2.50 for the use of expenses. There being no other business the club adjourned to meet again on Nov. 10th, 1900
