Fifty Men Working at Plant Site on Mt. Savage Road—Corner-stone Laying Saturday.

Excavation for the new Paragon Motor Car Company plant, Mt. Savage Road, began today under direction of company officials. Fifty workers began breaking ground preliminary to pouring of concrete for the bases and piers, which are expected within a few days. The main plant, in which the Paragon motor will be constructed, will be 240 by 168 feet in dimensions and of concrete .foundations, steel framework and brick walls. It will be rushed to completion, Philip W. Blake, president of the company, stated today. An office building, a work shop and a bridge across a run over which material is being conveyed, have been completed.

Several hundred stockholders in the motor company, the officials and others interested in the advent of another industry here are expected at the corner- stone laying Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Mayor Thomas W. Koon will make the principal address. Other features are being arranged for the occasion by the president.

Wm. L. Sperry will pour the concrete for the first pier.
