One Thousand Children to Lunch.

With every mail come acceptances from the out-of-town schools, and the number of children present on Monday to be lunched at the City Hall will not be short of a thousand. If the weather is good the number may exceed this.

The committee of the Y. M. C. A., Geo. Shuck chairman, are making every effort to maintain the city's reputation for hospitality and feed these children. More than 2,000 sandwiches, 150 gallons of milk and other food in proportion is required. Contributions should be reported to Mr. Shuck and sent in baskets tagged plainly to the market house by 10 a.m. Monday.

Sixty two ladies will have charge of 62 tables, and the children will be fed around them. Thirty-five of the required 62 ladies have consented to serve, among them:
Mesdames J. S. Johnson, R. E. Hall, R.R. Henderson, C. J. Grrick, H. H. Townsend, Wm. Leonard, H. T. Hanmer, Susman Rosenbaum, Josephine Robb, P. J. Smith, William Johnson, J. A. Donnelly, A. J. M. Holmes, M. Smith, W. H. LeFevre; Misses Bessie Luman, Zalia Hoffman, Eloise Roman, Cora Johnson, Minnie Koegel, Lucy Taafel, Rebecca Sipes, Jennie Grant, Agnes Frant, Emma Shuck, Carrie Hensey, Bessie Hoffman, Tillie Hoffman, Alma Jones, Laura Young, Lizzie Leonard, Lizzie Lingo, Lucy Fechtig and Mollie Spier.

They will be assisted by Messrs. George C. Shuck, George B. Thruston, William Gardner, Robert L. Couter, James D. Wineow, A. Finkeldey, D. A. Smith, Thomas Johnson, Frank Peddicord, H. A. Hensey and others. This committee is in session at the time of going to press.
