Dear Major-General Hartle,

I am commanded by The Queen to send you two autographed copies of the photograph of Her Majesty and yourself taken on June 25th in Northern Ireland.

Will you be kind enough to give the second copy to the driver of the car.

The Queen has the happiest recollections of the day her Majesty spent with you and your troops in Northern Ireland,
