Hagerstown Weekly Herald, 07-24-1874


Mr. Henry Mumma, acting under the Trustees of Washington Cemetery, Hagerstown, continues actively engaged in the work of hunting up and removing to the above place the remains of such of the Confederate dead as may be found in and about the battle-fields around Sharpsburg. He has furnished us with the following list of interments since our last report:

at Mrs. Hoffman's farm, near Boonsboro'.

Hagerstown Weekly Herald

The names listed here as found at Mrs. Hoffman's farm were listed in the Bowie book on page 50-51. They are not found on Coxson's list. The men that Mumma found at Maryland Heights are not found on either Coxson's or Bowie's list.
