Herald of Freedom and Torch Light, Sept 1862 (2-5G Ad: Medicine)

Herald of Freedom and Torch Light, Hagerstown, Md., September 1862, page 2 Click on the MEDIA ITEMS below for more information

No treatment or remedies has ever been so successful in effectually curing disease as "Dr. Swayne’s Valuable Medicines," a remedy for each and every malady, prepared with the greatest care, under the immediate supervision of a thoroughly educated Physician. We have certificates of extraordinary cures of diseased lungs performed by "Dr. Swayne's Compound Syrup of Wild Cherry," cases where the lungs were very much disordered and given up to die by Physicians and friends. If the bowels are costive, or not sufficiently free, use in connexion "Swayne’s Sarsaparilla and Tar Pills," a great purifying purgative. The two will cleanse out all disordered humors, enrich and purify the blood, remove all unhealthy, bilious secretions of the stomach and bowels, causing a perfect healthy state of the liver. If you have cough, asthma, hemorrhage, or spitting of blood, sore throat, obstructions of the spleen or liver, short breath, pains in the urinary organs, night, sweats, restless nights, any symptoms of pulmonary consumption, do not delay, but procure the above remedies at once. Thirty years experience has proven to the world that they cannot be excelled.

Prepared only by Dr. SWAYNE & SON. NO. 330 North Sixth St., Philadelphia. Sold by dealers in Medicine everywhere.
By C. W. SMITH, Hagerstown. (See Advertisement.)
