Choir tour included singing at the Annual Conference at the Hebrew Temple in Washington, DC.; Bruce Stollings was the summer intern; Rev. Harold Bell Wright returned to preach for the celebration of the 150th anniversary; Elizabeth Overby, a medical missionary from India, spoke at the 42nd annual Mission Dinner; Dan Bible, work project director for CAMP HOPE, spoke at the Men's Breakfast; November was "Hunger Month" as many church members observed a Hunger Calendar provided by Vicki Linn of the Commission on Education; the mortgage on the McLane property was paid in full.

1983—A "CAMP HOPE Primer" was distributed with The Circuit Rider to members of the Baltimore Conference as the local project was designated as an Advance special; several past and present church members were honored by the new Frostburg Hall of Fame; plans are being developed for the Youth Choir tour and this summer's CAMP HOPE projects; work was begun on protecting the first floor stained glass windows (for $13,700).

During these last years, we, the members of Frostburg United Methodist Church, have continued to hold true to our past traditions, have developed new and interesting means of Christian service, and look forward to the challenges of the future with continued commitment to the ideals of our heritage as we share in serving God in this place.
