The Union Men from Virginia.—

At every point of the Potomac river from Harper's Ferry to Hancock large numbers of Virginia Union men crossed over into this county for refuge from the tyranny of the rebels. The number of these persecuted patriots is very large, as they are to be found in every town, village and neighborhood, but happily they will not be compelled to remain in exile long, some of them being already on their way back to the homes which the Government troops have reclaimed for them. May they never again be driven from those homes for loving their country, is the prayer of all men whose hearts are in the right place.
