THE Skedaddlers—

It is said that a number of persons have left this county to avoid the draft.

That game has, however, been blocked, all persons liable to military duty being now required to procure a Pass to enable them to go out of the county for any purpose.

Important Orders-

The orders of the President of the United States in relation to persons attempting to escape from the draft by fleeing from their homes and States, and also directing the punishment of parties who attempt to discourage enlistments or engage in other disloyal practices, will be found published in another column. These orders are everywhere rigidly enforced, and already the "Skedaddlers" are being caught and brought back. We understand that passes are now necessary to enable persons subject to military duty to leave this town by railroad or stage.
