The Voting on the New Constitution.

At the time of going to press the voting was being proceeded with. As we expected, embarrasments thrown in the way of letters, kept many away from the polls, _____ would otherwise have voted. Some who _____ to vote, were prohibited, objections having been raised, although the parties had been voters of the state for a number of years. We have not been disappointed about these proceedings. Never was there such a complete farce as the promised vox populi in the proposed adoption of rejection of the new Constitution.
