Morgantown Suffragists Organize.
Ably assisted by Dr. Harriet B. Jones, of Wheeling, 20 of the more prominent women of Morgantown, W. Va., met and organized a political equality club, which will have for its purpose the placing of a law on the statute books giving the women of West Virginia the right of suffrage.
The ladies intend to inaugurate a state-wide campaign at once and will attempt to organize a club in every city. After this is accomplished the first state convention will be held the date and place to be decided later.
