Six Dollars Reward.

RANAWAY from the Subscriber living near Taney Town, in Frederick County, on Thursday the 25th of April last, a dark Mulatto Slave named ANTHONY, about 34 years of age, about 5 feet 2 inches high, has a very bushy head which he seldom combs when at home, grey eyes, a smooth spoken fellow, chews tobacco and plays on the violin. Had on when he went away, a sailors jacket of sull’d linsey, tow linen shirt, a pair of white sull’d linsey breeches, white yarn stockings and an old pair of shoes and buckles. As he has a number of acquaintances, probably he may change his dress. The above reward will be paid for securing the said slave in any gaol so that his master may get him again, and reasonable charges if brought home, paid by

ROGER BROOKE.
Taney Town August 9, 1793.
