A Runaway Negro in Custody.

WAS committed on the 3d instant, to the Gaol of Washington County, a Negro Man by the name of Dick, who says he belongs to Mr. Joseph Careings near Leesburgh in Virginia; he is about 25 years of age, 5 feet 6 inches high, much pitted with small-pox, a large beard and nose; had on when committed a mixed coloured cloth coat, two jackets, one a thickset, & the other a fine spotted velvet, striped breeches of a bluish cast, appears to be forrest cloth, pale blue yarn stockings, old shoes, and a white linen shirt.
