RANAWAY from the subscriber living on Beaver Creek, Washington county, Md. On Tuesday night last, the 20th inst. A Negro Boy, named
SAM,
between 17 and 18 years of age, 5 feet 7 or 8 inches high, has a mark on one of his cheeks blacker than any other part of his skin, about the size of a quarter of a dollar, also a mark on one of his feet caused by a scald, a little knocknee'd, and thin lips; he has a friendly countenance, a fine voice similar to a woman, he is an active, smart boy, and can do any kind of work in the kitchen, or on a farm ; he took with him two white fur hats, one pair of coarse leather shoes, a pair of pumps, a pair of light drab pantaloons, and a drab lindsey coat, on the back of the coat between the hip buttons is a lead coloured patch, a white striped roundabout, a pair of chambry pantaloons, and a blue cloth vest.
A reward of Twenty Five Dollars, will be given for the above runaway, if secured in any Jail in Maryland, or Fifty Dollars if secured in any Jail out of the state, so that I get him again.
