$200 REWARD.

Ranaway from the subscriber, living near Millwood, Clark county, Va,
on Sunday morning the 13th of September inst. a Negro Man, named EDMUND, he is about 35 years of age, a bright mulatto, 5 Feet 7 inches high, small and very delicate in appearance for a Negro; he has a bushy head of hair, which recedes very much from the forehead. Edmund has lost the joint of one of the middle fingers on his right hand by which he cannot be mistaken. He wore away a claret colored coat, dark grey cassinet pantaloons and a varnished leather cap, somewhat remarkable for its shape—he may, however, have changed all of his clothing.

The above reward of $200. will be paid for the apprehension of Edmund if taken out of the State; $50 if taken within the State and out of Clarke county and $20 if taken within the County; in either case he must be secured in jail so that I get him again, and if brought home all reasonable expenses paid.

GEORGE H BURWELL.
