RUNAWAY!

WAS committed to the jail of Washington county Maryland, as a runaway on the 28th ult., a bright molatto boy, who gave his name to the committing magistrate as CHARLES SCOTT, and now calls himself Daniel Dailey ; has thick lips, of pleasant countenance when spoken to, five feet one inch high, about 17 years of age, had on a straw hat, drab linsey coat, silk vest, white cotton drill pants and fine shoes ; says he is bound to Mr. Wm. S. Haslum of Howard county, Md., for a term of years and has but a short time to stay. The owner of the above described negro is required to come forth prove his property, pay charges and take him away, else he will be discharged according to law.
