TWO Negroes, the one a Wench about twenty-five years of age, she has been used to work both out and within _____, and may be said to possess as many good qualifications as any other Negro; the other is a Boy of about ten years old, remarkably well grown, full of vivacity and boyish tricks. Any person inclining to purchase will please to enquire of the Printer hereof.

The Hagerstown Jail is filled with Negroes, only sixty-nine having been deposited in it, on Wednesday last. They are the property of the late Judge John Buchanan, and are for sale. The fanatics of the North ought to purchase them.— But interest precedes phylantrophy ; does it not you men of all words and no meaning ?
SHERIFF'S SALE.
JAMES MATSON, a free man of color, having been fined the sum of twenty dollars and costs of prosecution, for having unlawfully emigrated to this State and failing to pay the same, agreeable to law. Thereby give notice that on Saturday the 20th day of August, in front of the Court House in Hagerstown, I will offer for sale the said James Matson, at public auction, to the highest bidder for cash, agreeably to the acts of assembly in such case made and provided.
